Ingredients
- 2 lbs of ground meat (chicken or beef)
- 1-4 teaspoons of your favourite steak seasoning (note some steak seasoning are extremely high in salt. Please add a little at a time and taste. A little goes a long way.) I use Paul Prudhomme Blackened Steak Magic Seasoning.
- 4 cups steamed and chopped cauliflower
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz of cream cheese (broken into pieces)
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream) or substitute a can of mushroom soup
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Put cauliflower into a microwavable dish with a cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes
- While cauliflower is cooking, brown your meat until it’s cooked
- Drain the fat off the meat and mix in seasoning
- Add the cooked cauliflower and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and the cream cheese
- In a separate bowl whisk together the egg and cream mixture (or mushroom soup)
- Pour egg mixture in with the meat and cauliflower
- Spread into a baking dish (approx 8″ x 11.5″)
- Top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- Bake in a 400 degree F. oven for 30 minutes (uncovered)

Oh my goodness. this is fabulous. We changed a little, as we are intolerant to regular cheese, so we used our soya cheese, and decreased it a little in the mixed up ingredients, but kept the topping the same. ooooh….yummy, yummy..It is wonderful comfort food…Thanks Terry…Steve and Wendy
